One blessing of technology! :)

So my roommates and I got this grand idea.  You see spaghetti sauce over here is really expensive because it is imported...and vegetables are pretty cheap.  So during our October holiday (three days off over October 1st to celebrate the founding of China) we decided that we were going to make a huge pot of spaghetti sauce and freeze some.  I didn't really have a clue how to go about this but Dani Beth got some great advice from her mom and did all the chopping while Molly and I worked at school.  Last evening we came home to start the cooking adventure together. And so we worked together and the sauce cooked and it cooked and it cooked - and it smelled amazing....but still something was wrong....the texture was off but we didn't know how to fix it....... So what do girls do when they're on the other side of the world and something is wrong with what they are cooking?  They Skype their mom of course! :) (Dani Beth's computer has a built in camera that allowed her mom to see exactly what was wrong with our sauce! :)  I managed to capture the moment with my camera.   Thanks Dani Beth's mom!  We got just the advice we needed and our spaghetti sauce was delicious (and the right texture) ! :)   This was one time we were very thankful for technology. :)
For those of you that don't have family on the other side of the world and don't know about Skype, it is a program that allows us to call from our computer to a landline or another computer.  In addition, if you have a camera on your computer and you call another computer you can see each other while you talk.   And it's free! :)
