Who says that kids can't have any fun living in an apartment complex in the middle of a city? When I arrived home on Friday after fall camp there was quite a commotion outside my apartment. :) The setting: Our apartment complex (see the picture below for the feel of the area)

The participants:
- Ms. Neumann (Molly) in the window on the third story

- children from MANY families living in the apartment complex

The goal:
- To get the nerf

rocket into Ms. Neumann's window.
The strategy:
- Launch from the steps in the apartment building across directly across from ours.
- After trying for well over 45 minutes changed strategy to shooting directly below the window.

The equipment:
- One "rocket launcher" aimed at the right angle and kids to jump on it to provide the momentum to get across the "chasm" to Ms. Neumann's window.
Our House...
Quickly filled with kids sitting on our kitchen counter to watch the kids outside continue to try.
The result:

An hour of fun times!! :) And eventually....SUCCESS - they hit our window and Ms. Neuman said that that was good enough for cookies. :)
Fun times!! :)
