08-08-2008 has arrived!! After many years of waiting the Beijing Olympics has arrived. We are heading out to watch the opening ceremonies at a friends house here in a minute. It was a normal day here in Tianjin (except that only half the cars were on the road). The electronic news board in my development announced that it was the Olympics. It says Beijing Olympics: Today is the opening. It will begin at 8:08 pm - (eight is a lucky number here in case you didn't pick that up). I will be going to the US mens soccer game tomorrow night here in Tianjin. It should be fun!
